Many guests will attend your wedding reception! While a great deal of their time will be spent out on the dance floor, they will also be seated at your tables, as they enjoy your meal and mingle with one another. However, you can’t just toss guests at a table, as thought should be given when it comes to seating them. Butlerz Event & Beach Rentals, we have gathered some tips for seating your own wedding guests. If you would like to gain some great insight, be sure to continue reading:
- Singles. You will most likely have many single guests attending your wedding. However, you shouldn’t seat them all at one table, as that could make them feel incredibly awkward and uncomfortable. Instead, seat a couple single guests at each table. And, if you have the opportunity to play matchmaker, then go right ahead!
- Parents. Are your parents still married? Or, do they still get along with one another? If so, you can comfortably seat your parents along with your partner’s parents at one table. If not, it would be best to seat them separately, along with their children.
- Bridal Party. If you and your partner will not be seated at your own sweetheart table, it would be best to sit with your bridal party. However, your bridal party should all sit together regardless.
- Children. With children attending your wedding, you will want to ensure they are occupied and entertained! You can do so by seating them at a table just for kids. Comprise it with coloring books, games, glowsticks, and other kid-friendly activities, and they will certainly be pleased.
